About the Artist

Kate Fitzpatrick is a wildlife artist and muralist. She is the founder of the KissFist Mural Fest, a non-profit mural festival dedicated to centering artists from the Deaf community.

Her deep love for nature is the foundation of her work. She depicts the natural world in ways that honor its wonder and complexity while remaining grounded in accurate representations of animal behavior and local habitats, rather than through humanized portrayals.

I painted the original oil painting that this sticker is based on during my artist residency at Rocky Mountain National Park. I was lucky enough to see a bear one day - they are very rare in RMNP and generally avoid people (relatable!!).

This sticker is 3-inches, waterproof, and dishwasher safe if you, like me, cover your water bottle in stickers.

This beautiful mug is a design I created based on my Peaceful Rest original painting.

This 13.5oz enamel mug was handmade in Poland by the wonderful Emalco Enamelware Company. Enamelware is nontoxic, durable, and dishwasher safe. Enamelware is not microwaveable.

$5 from each Peaceful Rest Mug sold will be donated to the Wildlife Animal Sanctuary in Keenesburg, CO. They are an amazing sanctuary that cares for a variety of rescued wildlife. Highly recommend visiting if you are in Colorado!
